2/6/2012: The new Uniden BCD996XT and antenna have been in for a bit now. The antenna is now about 10 feet higher but is in the attic instead of being outside. Overall reception seems to be a bit better but Sauk Dispatch is still weak with lots of noise at times.

12/20/2011: Sauk Sheriff seems to be a bit low on signal at times with lots of noise. Other channels seem to be fine. Added Sauk & Richland highway departments now that winter is (almost) here. Not sure if I can receive them but I also added Richland Center Police. Added Reedsburg Rural FD frequencies. Not sure if they are used or not but they are in the RadioReference DB. Turned on the State Police again just to see what happens along with Vernon & Juneau Counties as another test. Vernon & Juneau will most likely be turned off again in a few weeks. Also turned the channel delay back on. Got tired of missing some of the conversation when it would stop on a different channel between transmissions.

9/9/2010: I have decided to drop the live video feed of the scanner due to the ads on Ustream's service. While the service is nice and yes, free due to the ads, I feel that there are too many on it.

7/17/2010: A new antenna and location has greatly increased reception. A temp bank will be enabled for several days to test reception of other counties.

6/12/2010: Feed will be down till later tonight as storms will be moving in and I will be out of the house till later tonight.

6/4/2010: Added more frequencies. Turned off the delay feature to speed up return to scan.

5/20/2010: STATE PATROL 5 (channel 533) has been locked out due to poor reception.

5/17/2010: Ground loop isolator is in and the audio is much better now!
